We are in the middle of our public crowdfunding campaign, which is still accelerating, with new contributors daily.
There have been a lot of questions, and we will do our best to answer them in this post.
What is the Companion Token opening price?
The Companion token public sale price is $0.04. Which equates to a $1.07m Marketcap by circulating supply of 27m on TGE.
In context, Breakfree Trading (the Mother company of Companion) turned over $3m in revenue in 2021. Do the math.
Is the Companion Token launch vested?
Only the Companion seed round is vested.The companion public sale round is fully unlocked.
What do I need to do after completing payment & passing KYC?
After passing KYC & completing your payment, you are all set and just need to await instructions on how to claim your tokens in our app. This will come in another announcement.
Note: We won't be able to distribute tokens until your complete KYC.
Where will Companion Token be listed?
Following the token distribution, Companion will begin trading on Companion Exchange, which you can access on our website or app.
We expect automatic listing across all top CEX in the coming months as Companion accelerates market share acquisition in the crypto market.
When will Token Distribution take place?
We have been blown away by the response to our crowdfunding campaign, and we still see hundreds of new contributors daily.
Admittedly this is a bit more than we expected, affecting our original token distribution date slightly.
We hope to be ready by Monday the 10th, but it might take til Friday, the 15th of October, to properly ensure fair token distribution at the same time across all platforms.
A new announcement regarding the exact distribution date will be out next week, and everyone will have time to prepare.
How will I receive my tokens?
Our engineers are finalizing our IOS, Android & Chrome app for token redemption.
From the app, you can navigate to in-app wallet staking and redeem your tokens using a unique code provided to only you.
How big was the Companion Seed round?
Companion seed round raised $300,000 after winning the Serum Hackathon in February 2022.
All tokens are vested over 36 months. The price per token was $0.02.
Why does Companion not immediately list on FTX or Binance?
Listing on Serum is a genius move that people won’t understand until they see what organic user adoption looks like.
Most crypto projects have no approach to acquiring new users. So they rely on listings in other communities or exchanges to “adopt/steal” users.
The result is that everyone is fighting over the same users, meaning each user’s buying ability and attention are infinitely diluted.
Companion is entirely different.
